About Us

A Brother, A Sister, and a Love for Horses

We are Ash and Meriem — a brother-sister team from Morocco. We grew up around horses. Riding was never just a hobby for us — it was how we felt free, how we connected with the land, and how we found ourselves.

We started Ninja Horsy because we wanted to share that feeling with women from around the world. Not the tourist version of Morocco — the real one. The one where you gallop along an empty beach at sunset, sleep under a sky full of stars, eat food made with love by people who treat you like family, and sit around a campfire with women who came as strangers and leave as sisters.

Meriem is the heart of every retreat. She rides with you every single day, leads the sisterhood circles, and creates the space where you can truly be yourself. She is not just a host — she is the reason women come back.

Ash — @ninjahorsy

Ash handles everything behind the scenes — logistics, communication, organisation. When you DM us on Instagram, you are talking directly to Ash or Meriem. Every detail is taken care of so your only job is to show up and be present.

Why We Do This

We believe there is something powerful about women riding together. Something that happens when you are on a horse, in nature, away from screens and noise and the pressure to be anything other than yourself. We have seen it over and over — women arrive tired, guarded, stressed. By day three, they are laughing like they have known each other for years. By the last night, they are crying because they do not want it to end.

That is why we do this. Not for the business. For those moments.

We are Moroccan. We know the land, the culture, the horses, the people. When you come on one of our retreats, you are not a tourist — you are our guest. And in Morocco, guests are treated like family.
